• About

The Reader is Hampshire College's annual
art and literature journal produced completely by students. It provides an opportunity for Hampshire's writers,
studio artists, and photographers to be published in a professional level publication during their undergraduate career. In addition, it offers those students interested in working in the publishing industry first-hand experience in working collaboratively on editorial, layout, and production teams. The Reader highlights the scope and quality of work being
done at Hampshire for the school's past, present, and
future community members. The Reader is free and published using the Student Activities Fund. Spring 2012 marks The Reader's 18th year in publication.
